Conveniently located close to Rome Termini station, just a 5 min walk. We ordered beer, Channa batura and veg biryani. All were very tasty, consistent with saravana bhavan quality. Service was very good. Enjoyed dining here.

The food was amazing! We were really craving some authentic South Indian food and so glad we found this place. The Madras filter coffee, masala chai, idli vada sambar, and Mysore masala dosa were all so good! The vibe was nice too, with soft instrumental music in the background.

When you craving fresh and authentic South Indian food in Rome, Saravana Bhavan is the place to go. The place is always crowded and the food is super fresh and tasty. It was a pleasure to find this place on our holiday to Rome and we landed-up going here two times during our one week stay in the Italian Capital. I tried their Idlis, Dosas, Vada, Thali and lots of other dishes and nothing disappointed. And to wash it all down with some amazing Filter Kapi was divine. It's amazing to see how many Saravana Bhavans are there around the globe today. The last time I asked, the count was 104 branches across 21 countries.

This is my first time trying south indian food, so I don't know if I can judge correctly. The food was very tasty. The hour was busy, inside was pretty crowded, still the hosts paid enough attention to us.

Authentic South Indian Food in foreign land. North Indian food was average but Rasam was amazing appetizer! Ambience was calming and all the staff was happy helping people satisfy their hunger. Good place to have one major meal everyday while you are in Rome.

Had an amazing experience at Saravanaa Bhavan in Rome – the food here is authentic, delicious, and full of flavor. Idli – perfectly soft and fluffy, served with tasty chutneys and sambar. Dosa – light, crispy, and cooked just right, with generous fillings. Idli Vada – a great combo! The idli was soft while the vada was crispy outside and fluffy inside. Vegetable Kadhai – rich, aromatic, and full of fresh vegetables in a flavorful gravy. Dahi Vada – melt-in-the-mouth vadas with smooth, tangy yogurt and spices, very refreshing. It could have been little sweet. But overall was good. Onion Uttapam – thick, fluffy, and topped generously with onions, delicious with chutneys. The staff were warm and friendly, and the service was quick. If you’re in Rome and craving authentic Indian vegetarian food, this is definitely the place to visit!
